We were awarded Teaching School status in 2012 and are very proud to be the lead school in the Salop Teaching School Alliance.  The Alliance works across Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin Local Authorities and provides many of our staff with exciting professional development opportunities as an extension to their substantive roles. We are seeking to appoint an innovative and energetic Teacher of Mathematics to work with a team of specialist teachers, in a very successful department.

This post would suit either a more experienced teacher or an NQT. 

Whilst excellent academic outcomes are essential, the ability to contribute to the wider life of the school will be a significant dimension of the post holder.  The Priory School leads the Salop Teaching Alliance, which also provides exciting career opportunities for our staff.

Applicants must have:

  • An honours degree or equivalent in Mathematics
  • A-Level in Mathematics with a good grade
  • QTS
