Head of Design & Technology.

Salary dependent on experience plus TLR

From September 2019

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, creative and well-qualified DT teacher to lead our Design

and Technology department as part of our wider technology faculty; overseeing the curriculum across

both key stages. The candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team and the Head of Technology. 

Candidates should:

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner
  • Have the ability to lead DT teachers across the department
  • Be able to manage and develop programmes of study and curriculum plans for DT
  • Have high expectations of students in terms of learning, achievement and behaviour
  • Have a commitment to support our enrichment programme by facilitating extra-curricular clubs – The Priory School prides itself on offering a range of STEM and House activities
  • Whilst excellent academic outcomes are essential, the ability to contribute to the wider life of the school will be a significant dimension of the post holder.
