Our Curriculum Intent in D&T is to develop the creative, technical and practical expertise that pupils needed to perform everyday tasks confidently and to participate successfully in the adult world. We help them and apply a repertoire of knowledge, understanding and skills in order to design and make high-quality prototypes and products in school, so they build transferable skills equipping them for future life. We plan to build resilience pupils with positive, problem-solving approaches that can analyse, evaluate and test their ideas and the products of others.
