Intention Statement:

Our intention is to provide a challenging, stimulating and exciting curriculum for students with SEND, which ensures our students are able to access the rest of the curriculum:

  • Develop into explorative, conscientious, learners who can talk confidently about their own progress and successes at school.
  • Approach their study of all subject areas with an open mind, empathy, and a willingness to embrace unfamiliar situations; be able to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Find the skills and knowledge acquired in literacy, numeracy and their general learning ability so that they can significantly benefit after they leave school
