30 students from Y8 and 30 students from Y9, helped by our Y10 MFL/PE students, then took part in classroom sessions incorporating key words and phrases in French to write a match report, using a range of language to give opinions and detail, in a variety of tenses. This was followed by a practical football session using French. Well done to all involved, it was great to see such a buzz for languages, and to have our minds opened up to the possibilities and opportunities learning a language can bring for the future!
