A “bon jour” was had by all when Year 7’s experienced our annual Languages Day in October.
In the morning students were in small groups in the hall enjoying a variety of languages, ranging from Slovakian to Welsh to Non-verbal Communication (NVC). Comments received were very positive and enthusiastic.
The afternoon consisted of a competition in French lessons where students enacted the play “Bobo Le Robot” to an appreciative audience. Winners included Holly Perring, Thomas Patrick, Luca Raisin, Ollie Sharp and Ivan Upex of Acton.
Many "mercis" to the older students who helped so capably as Language Assistants. A huge thank you too, of course, to our visiting linguists which included current and former parents, teaching staff and past pupils.
We look forward to another successful event next year!
