  • Principal’s Welcome
A very warm welcome to The Priory School website. We hope it will provide a snapshot of life at the school, our expectations and our ethos. The school has an interesting history and celebrates a sense of tradition as well as being forward-looking.
Not only do we pursue the important dimension of achieving the best results for each individual, regardless of their starting point; but we also believe strongly that education is about developing well-rounded individuals, who are ready, willing and able to make their contribution to society.

  • The House System

The House system is an essential pillar of the approach we take to student welfare.  Led by a Head of House, and supported by Form Tutors, the Houses provide support, care and guidance to our students.  All students are assigned a House from the very start,  and the team spirit that builds creates a strong sense of loyalty and belonging.

  • Parents

Parents and Carers play an important role at The Priory School.  We recognise the importance of a close working relationship with parents and value the support and co-operation we receive from them Visit our Parents page for details of Admissions, Uniform, Catering, School Policies and much more.

  • Community

The Priory School recognises its position as a vital part of the community, and provides opportunities for our students to broaden their understanding and experiences of the community they are part of, incorporating local, regional, national and global communities.

  • Job Vacancies

The Priory School is a successful school where students achieve excellent results on all measures.  We take a great pride in our school, ensuring that staff are well supported in carrying out their duties and that we are constantly in pursuit of excellence in all that we do.
