Beautiful sunshine, stunning views, plenty of snow and fabulous students were the perfect mix for a truly memorable ski trip during February half term.
Students from Years 8 – 11 with a huge range of ski ability from those who had never skied before to experienced skiers headed for the snow-capped mountains of Andorra where moments of self-doubt were overcome and students realised they were capable of so much more than they thought.
There were many moments of hilarity watching staff and students crashing into trees, each other and sliding the length of a piste but everyone returned in good health and spirits, all be it needing a little sleep! Ski instructors and members of the public commented on the excellent behaviour of the students who were a credit not only to themselves but also their school and family.
Memories of the trip will last a lifetime as will the resilience and determination exhibited by so many.
