What do Bill Clinton, CS Lewis and Percy Shelley have in common with a group of Year 10 students? The answer is they all spent time at University College, Oxford.

On March 7, a group of students travelled to Oxford to sample life at the famous college.

They were given a guided tour of the college, chatted to students and found out more about the application process.

There was even time for a visit to Oxford’s Ashmolean Museum with object handling and free time to explore.

Nellie Chamings, the college's schools liaison officer, said: "It was great to have you all.  The students were so engaged, which always makes these visits super enjoyable for me."
