posted 07 Apr 2017

All Year 8 students took part in a Community Project in association with Shrewsbury Town Council to once again design the floral displays for the roundabout by The Priory School and the Splitter island at Grange Road.

Students produced a very high quality range of ideas and finalists presented these to Adam Purnell from Shrewsbury Town Council, The Mayor of Shrewsbury and Ms Joao. Students delivered their presentations with confidence and maturity making the judging exceptionally difficult.

Clive were the overall winners with a floral display commemorating the Battle of Passchendaele designed by Khalid Osman, Josh Miles, Shaun Bailiff, and Will Kinney, and the Splitter commemorating the struggle of the Suffragettes and 100 years since Parliament approved legislation for all women to be able to vote was designed by Erin Marshall, Hermione Brown, Lucy Eaton and Chloe Manley.
