Our second charity quiz took place on Friday 10th February, due to the success of our last quiz held in the Autumn term we limited the number of tables to 31 in line with Health and safety guidelines. Even so we took more than £500 on the night so many thanks to all those students, parents and staff who turned up on a cold, miserable Friday night to participate and thanks to those who provided raffle prizes.
The questions were a little easier this time but there were still many puzzled faces at one point or another through the evening. Students performed really well on the Harry Potter round but the overall winners were again a team mainly comprising of the Humanities staff – our thanks to them for donating their prize to the Charity.
There is plenty of time for everyone to get their brains in gear for the next quiz which will be in the Autumn as next half term our Focus is Red Nose Day and a Colour Run and then in the Summer term, a 24 hour Sportathon to exercise other parts of the body as well as the brain.
